At least 17 people were reported to have been injured on Sunday in a grenade attack near #Rawalpindi’s Ganj Mandi Police Station.
Police officials confirmed that a hand grenade exploded near a filtration plant in front of the police station.
Police said 14 of those injured had been shifted to the #DHQ Hospital, while three were receiving medical assistance on the spot. Three victims were also said to be in a critical condition.
As rescue officials continued their operations, the areas was cordoned off by Rawalpindi’s Counter Terrorism Department (#CTD).
