Washington: United States President Donald Trump and his predecessor, Barack Obama, have locked horns in rival rallies.
According to details, Trump and Obama held rival rallies in different states where both directed blistering barbs are each other.
Supporting Democratic White House nominee Joe Biden, Obama called Trump a ‘crazy uncle’ and said that he promotes racism.
“If Mr. Biden wins, we are not going to have a president who goes out of his way to insult anybody who doesn’t support him, or threaten them with jail. That’s not normal presidential behavior,” Trump said while addressing a rally in Pennsylvania.
He added that voters would not tolerate such conduct from a family member, “except for maybe a crazy uncle somewhere”.
Referring to Trump’s stance on coronavirus, former US President said that he can’t protect citizens. “He can’t even take the basic steps to protect himself,” Obama added taking a jibe at Trump.
Obama also criticized Trump’s continued business affiliations with China and his recently revealed Chinese bank account.
On the other hand, Trump while addressing a rally in Gastonia said that the choice for voters was between a “Trump super-recovery” or a “Biden steep depression”.
Hurling accusations at Obama, he said that there was nobody that campaigned harder for ‘crooked’ Hillary Clinton than him.
“I think the only one unhappy than crooked Hillary that night was Barack Hussein Obama,” he added.
Biden has a solid lead on Trump with only 13 days to go until US election but the ultimate outcome would come on November 03.
