Lahore: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has thanked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the national squad for touring the country during the coronavirus pandemic.
Pakistan’s tour of New Zealand has come to an end, and NZC has thanked PCB for sending national team for touring their country.
Blackcaps official Twitter handle wrote, “We appreciate the effort and sacrifice you made to make this tour happen”.
“Wishing you a safe journey home”, it added.
The National team of Pakistan reached New Zealand on November 24 and underwent strict COVID-19 protocols after six positive results, ending isolation period on December 8 before moving to Queenstown for practice and initial training.
The green shirts won only twice during the entire series.
