Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 44 coronavirus deaths and 3,119 new positive cases in one day.
According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), around 3,119 cases of coronavirus were reported while 44 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 8,303.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 413,191.
As many as 352,529 patients have recovered from the disease while more than 2,441 reported to be in critical condition.
Punjab
After sharp increase in the cases, the number of patients swelled to 122,293 in the province. The province reported 3,137 coronavirus. causalities.
Sindh
The cases of infection have surged to 180,904 in the province, the most affected region in Pakistan. The death toll has reached to 2,991 in the province.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 48,683 in the province while the death toll has surged to 1,399 in KPK.
Balochistan
There are 17,392 confirmed cases while 169 patients died of the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 7,219 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 175. On the other hand, there are 4,708 cases in GB with 98 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 31,165 cases in the capital city while 329 people have lost their lives.
