Lahore: Lollywood super star Shaan Shahid aimed at the content of Pakistan drama serials for promoting the divorce trend.
The prominent actor censured the drama industry while responding to a tweet shared by a host of satirical TV shows Mustafa Chaudhry, who also criticised the rising trend of divorces in drama serials.
Shahid in response agreed with Chaudhry’s views and said in satirical way: “They should now open divorce office after so much promotion”.
People also expressed their anger against the content of the dramas.
Earlier, Shaan Shahid had expressed disappointment at airing Turkish drama Dirilis: Ertugrul on PTV.
In an interview following the criticism, he said that Pakistan should not air the foreign dramas but also produced Ertugrul-type shows.
