Lahore: Pakistan has reported 20 coronavirus deaths and 1,502 new positive cases in one day.
According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), around 1,502 cases of coronavirus were reported while 20 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 6,943.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 341,753.
As many as 317,898 patients have recovered from the disease while more than 890 are reported to be in critical condition.
Punjab
After sharp increase in the cases, the number of patients swelled to 106,208 in the province. The province reported 2,399 coronavirus causalities.
Sindh
The cases of infection have surged to 148,922 in the province, the most affected region in Pakistan. The death toll has reached to 2,667 in the province.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 40,285 in the province while the death toll has surged to 1,042 in KPK.
Balochistan
There are 16,041 confirmed cases while 153 patients died of the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 4,652 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 107. On the other hand, there are 4,343 cases in GB with 93 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 21,302 cases in the capital city while 236 people have lost their lives.
