Jammu, September 03 : In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, former member of so-called Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Ladakh, Deldan Namgyal has said that the redrawn political map of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh post the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A provoked China to intensify its incursion and the Indian government failed to keep good diplomatic ties with China.
Deldan Namgyal talking to media criticized the Indian government for its failure and policies in Jammu and Kashmir and said that the redrawn political map of the territory provoked China more and that India is hiding the actual details of alarming situation that has emerged in the eastern Ladakh after the intensified incursion.
He said that the Indian government must let the people know about the actual situation and stand-off between China and India in eastern Ladakh. “The Indian government lied to the nation and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in particular.”
“The recent stand-off between the China’s PLA and Indian Army is very threatening and the situation is very serious in the area”, he said, adding, “The government must pacify it and try to resolve the matter under diplomatic channels.”
The former legislature said that amid the highly alarming situation in eastern Ladakh, the government has snapped telecom services in the areas close to Line of Actual Control (LAC) for the last two days and no one is allowed to go there.
