Punjab Governor says peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute vital for durable peace in S. Asia

Punjab Governor, Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman, has said that peaceful resolution of the lingering Jammu and Kashmir dispute is vital for sustainable peace in South Asia.

He made these remarks during a meeting with Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, who called on him at the Governor House in Lahore, today.

During the meeting, issues relating to Palestine, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and empowerment of women were discussed.

The Governor on the occasion maintained that peaceful settlement of the long-pending Kashmir dispute is essential for durable peace in the region.

On this occasion, Mushaal Hussein Mullick said we are collaborating with various institutions for the empowerment of women, and after completing one hundred days of this project, the performance will be presented to the caretaker Prime Minister.
