
KARACHI: (D.K.P.T)Cheques and certificates distribution ceremony was held here at the Governor House on Saturday to acknowledge the youth seeking loans and successfully running their businesses under the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme (KJP).
Prominent at the ceremony were Sindh Governor, Imran Ismail, Federal Minister for Finance, Shaukat Tareen, Governor State Bank of Pakistan, Dr. Reza Baqir, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar, SAPM on Maritime Affairs, Mehmood Maulvi, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MNAs, Aftab Siddique and Shakoor Shad, MPA, Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh, PTI Parliamentary Leader in Sindh Assembly, Khurram Sher Zaman and MPA, Shahzad Qureshi. Heads of different commercial banks were also present.
They all highlighted the vision, policies and sincere efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan to make Pakistan economically strong and progressive by generating economic activities, creating jobs and increasing exports, along with taking revolutionary steps on social front.
Empowerment of the youth and women is PM’s top priority as without enhancing their role in the economy and in nation-building activities the country could not progress, they said.
Federal Finance Minister, Shaukat Tareen said after Kamyab Jawan Programme, under the directives of the Prime Minister, in next couple of years Kamyab Pakistan Programme would be extended to every nook and corner of the country, which has already been launched in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and Balochistan.
This was aimed at enhancing income of the common man as the Prime Minister’s vision is to focus on increasing income to beat inflation.
“Imran Khan was very much concerned about lower, middle and salaried class of the country and wanted to provide them all possible relief at the earliest,” Tareen said.
