Lahore: PM Imran distributes Naya Pakistan health cards among people

LAHORE () – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday has arrived in Lahore on a day long visit and distributed Naya Pakistan health cards among the people of Punjab.

While addressing a ceremony, the premier lauded the government over health cards initiative and assured to provide free medical facility to every family in the province. A good state always cares about the less developed class of the society and fulfills their needs, he added.

PM Imran said that the people of Punjab will now be able to avail medical treatment upto Rs1 million at hospitals.

Later, the premier is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will brief the Prime Minister on preparation of the Local Bodies elections in Punjab. The Prime Minister will also be briefed on law and order situation in the province.
