Lahore: Pakistan is scheduled to take on Zimbabwe in the first ODI of the three-series on October 30 at Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Six players out of the 22 probable picked for the series, belong to\u00a0Islamabad and Rawalpindi, the twin cities.<\/p>\n

In a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), vice-captain Shadab Khan, all-rounder Imad Wasim, pacer Haris Rauf, emerging pacer Muhammad Musa, young wicketkeeper-batsman Rohail Nazir, emerging batsman Haider Ali\u00a0took a trip down memory lane and recalled their fond memories of iconic Pindi Stadium.<\/p>\n

Shadab Khan<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cWhen Ajju Bhai (Azhar Mahmood) scored a century in his debut match in 1997 at Pindi Stadium. So, I fondly remember that match,\u201d Shadab said.<\/p>\n

Imad Wasim<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cI watched a match here for the first time in 2003 when Bangladesh was touring; I saw the likes of Inzamam-ul-Haq and Shoaib Akhtar and I was ball picker too in that match. I can not forget that memory,\u201d Imad said.<\/p>\n

Haris Rauf<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cI was obsessed about cricket and grounds as a kid. I remember I once scaled the wall of the stadium at dawn during Ramadan just to touch and feel the pitch of the Pindi Cricket Stadium. After touching the pitch, we saw a security guard in front of us who followed us from where we came,\u201d Haris recalled.<\/p>\n

Haider Ali<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cLast match which Pakistan played against Bangladesh recently there. We are playing the upcoming series against Zimbabwe for which\u00a0I am very excited,\u201d Haider said.<\/p>\n

Musa Khan<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cI played U19 cricket here at this venue and I performed too. Pindi\u2019s crowd has always been fascinating but unfortunately, the crowd won\u2019t be allowed but still we will try to play good cricket,\u201d Musa said.<\/p>\n

Rohail Nazir<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cMostly our U19 regional matches and club cricket took place there. I was also part of the side which won the Pakistan Cup at that particular stadium. There are lot of fond memories of Pindi Stadium,\u201d Rohail said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to visit and watch cricket at Pindi stadium with my father and today I have the opportunity to play so, it\u2019s a great feeling,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
