Srinagar, June 27(KPN :Posters have appeared in Srinagar highlighting the prevailing lawless situation in internationally recognised disputed territory, of Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) saying that it ill-behooves Indian judges to hold \u2018legal\u2019 meet in illegally occupied Kashmir.<\/p>\n
The posters, displayed by pro-freedom organizations, including Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Movement, Warseen-e-Shuda Kashmir,Jammu Kashmir Democratic Youth Forum and ,Jammu Kashmir Students and Youth Forum denounced the Indian attempt to hold a so-called conference of 200 judges in Srinagar from June 29 to July 1, saying that like the G-20 meeting this conference was also doomed to fail.<\/p>\n
The posters urged the World Body to take notice of violation of Kashmiris\u2019 right to self-determination recognized by the UN Security Council through its resolution passed on January 5, 1949.<\/p>\n
The posters urged the Indian law makers that they should realise that India\u2019s ulterior motives behind holding the groupings meeting in IIOJK is nothing but to hide its anti-Kashmir agendas and demand of the UN resolutions by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
The posters said that the Indian Judges had no moral justification for holding such meeting or talking on such subjects as the people there lived the life of the colonized and the enslaved atmosphere.<\/p>\n
The posters called upon the World Body to honour its commitments made 74 years ago and said that the Right to Self-Determination Day was a reminder to the global community that it could not shy away from its responsibility of settling the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. The posters criticized the silence maintained by the Indian judges and judiciary over illegal detention of thousands of Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders, activists and youth under black laws.<\/p>\n
The judges through these posters have been asked to do justice with the detained Kashmiris. They have been asked to give verdict against the revocation of Articles 370 and 35 A instead of toeing the government\u2019s line on Kashmir.<\/p>\n
The posters urged the UN to take cognizance of the continued denial by India of the Kashmiris\u2019 right to self-determination recognized by the World Body through its resolutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
