Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar adopted journalism as profession since 1992 when he was just a student at intermediate level. From the beginning of his career, he worked as a sub editor, reporter, analyst and Columnist. While working as a freelance journalist he did not leave his educational studies and did bachelors and Masters from University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
He is highly motivated, hardworking, energetic, dedicated and a seasoned senior journalist with vast experience of 33 years in the field of reporting, investigative journalism, conducting in depth Interviews, source developing, fact and accuracy checking, news editing, writing scripts for various documentaries on culture, history and natural resources, minerals, climate change, Human Rights and freedom of thought and expression.<\/p>\n
He has in depth knowledge on television production and editing. He proved his mettle during his career as a columnist and almost wrote columns and articles on various topics in almost all dailies of Pakistan in Urdu and English Language.<\/p>\n
He is a natural team leader with wonderful journalistic ethics and skills. At the beginning of his journalistic career he worked as a sub editor in Kashmir Press International, a leading News Agency from 1991 to 1995.<\/p>\n
During this tenure he wrote dozens of articles in different Dailies of Pakistan viz a viz Daily Nawa-e-Waqat, The Nation, Pakistan Observer, Daily Frontier Post, Daily Markaz, Daily Pakistan, Daily Jasarat etc.<\/p>\n
Then in 1996 he attended University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir as a Student and did Masters in 1998. During his studies he remained one of the best students of his department and took 1st<\/sup> position in the English debating contest throughout the state of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n From 1998 to 2013 once again worked as a freelance journalist and used to write articles, columns and analysis for different dailies of Pakistan and contributing scripts to television channels.<\/p>\n Then in 2013 joined Daily Kashmir Post International as Managing editor and from 2018 till date working as Editor of Daily Kashmir Post International. His professional skills and unprecedented editorial techniques made Daily Kashmir Post International, a top leading News Paper of AJK.<\/p>\n Daily Kashmir Post international has become the Voice of people of Kashmir from both sides of line of control and is promoting the National policy of Pakistan that makes it organ of Kashmir freedom struggle. He has also been active in high lighting the Human Rights situation of the region.<\/p>\n Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar has covered hundreds of events at national as well as at international level. He has covered many seminars, conferences, press briefings, news stories based on community issues at national level. He edited, reviewed and approved work of junior journalists on daily basis. He writes editorial on current issues of Pakistan and also supervises the whole news items published in Daily Kashmir Post International.<\/p>\n Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar has covered business symposium entitled as Global Opportunities Beyond Brexit from 18 -19 June, in British Parliament organized by Hopeman Consultants United Kingdom in 2019.
